Meet the Artist: Barbara Lund
Barbara Lund has been designing Village pieces since 1989 when she joined her father, Neilan Lund, master architect of the Heritage Village Collection®. Barbara’s goals has been to deliver pieces with the same warmth, charm, and feeling that long time Village collectors have come to expect from the Lund family’s continuing tradition of design excellence.
Inspired by this magic, charming legend, our porcelain North Pole Series building and accessories bring Christmas dreams to life for the young and young at heart.

Scott Enter began working at Department 56 in 1990 drawing Village accessories, building detailed paper models and painting samples of Village pieces. Today Scott designs for The Original Snow Village®, Snow Village® Halloween, and Christmas In The City® Series.
Tom Bates has been a part of the Department 56 creative team since 1997. During the past twelve years these experiences have allowed Tom to refine his skills to concentrate on the Village line.

Tom Bates has been a part of the Department 56 creative team since 1997. During the past twelve years these experiences have allowed Tom to refine his skills to concentrate on the Village line. “My favorite building currently in the line is the “Flatiron Building” for Christmas In The City. It was a challenge but a lot of fun trying to create a realistic representation of such an incredible architectural and historic landmark.”
The delicately hand-painted buildings and accessories of our New England Village Series portray a simpler time when America was beginning its great traditions.

So when she was hired to design the Snowbabies it was a wonderful opportunity to showcase these talents. Kristi’s ideas for Snowbabies are inspired by real childhood experiences and amusing things that all children do while playing in the snow.
The vintage silver glitter is dusted on all of the SnowDream pieces. This extra sprinkle makes each piece magical. The new look is comfortably familiar yet excitingly new.

Meet the Artist: Ann Dezendorf
Ann Dezendorf has always had a passion to design for Christmas. It was a perfect fit when she was asked to lead the creative team in 2003 and develop unique designs for Possible Dreams. Ann has designed and art directed the development of more than 1,800 Santas and has been the exclusive designer for the Santa Claus Network and membership exclusives since 2004. Some of her favorite Clothtique Santa's that she has designed include Santa's Sugar Shack, Sleighride Together with You, and Merry Christmoose.
The Nutcracker Suite and other holiday treats were inspired by the many memorable moments of the masterpiece ballet. This georgeous Nutcracker Suite is literally a sweet dream brought to life! Sparkly fondant lollipops, rediculously cute cupcakes, pink-a-licious ornmanets and a beautifully designed cast.
